English for the HKDSE 香港中學文憑考試

Improve your speaking and writing skills and develop a powerful vocabulary in our Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) English preparation classes.

Studying at Impact Language is very comfortable and I have had a lot of fun here. My speaking and listening skills improved, and the learning atmosphere here is completely different from ordinary tutorial schools. Jeff Hui, Queen Elizabeth School

These classes are suitable for intermediate students or above. We have 2 target zones: 1) the first for those aiming for a 3 or better, and 2) the second for those targeting a 5-5** on the HKDSE English exam.

I enjoyed studying at Impact Language. I achieved my learning goals, feel that I really improved, and am more confident now in English. The teachers did a good job and really cared about me. One thing I really liked was the relaxing atmosphere. I recommend it! K.Y. Hung, Maryknoll Fathers (DSE English: 5)

Our course objectives are to:

  • enlarge your vocabulary base
  • strengthen comprehension
  • enhance your writing style
  • and bolster discussion skills

Classes are highly interactive with class time devoted to discussion. Students must already be comfortable interacting in English. Regular conversation courses are also available for those who need to work on that skill.

I got a straight 3 in English. I am so thankful for your teaching of English to me. It helped me a lot through the DSE paper!Perry Y., Bishop Hall Jubilee School (DSE English: 3)

These classes are supplemented by homework activities, primarily reading, but also writing and occasionally worksheets for vocabulary and grammar.
